BD140 Description
BD140 is a type of PNP epitaxial Silicon transistor manufactured by ON Semiconductor, which is a complement to BD139. As a variable current switch, the output current can be controlled based on the input voltage. Unlike ordinary mechanical switches (such as Relay, switch), PNP transistor BD140 use electrical signals to control its own opening and closing, so the switching speed can be very fast.
