TEMD5010X01 Overview
To prevent damage to these photodiodes, they are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR). For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. As long as the photodiodes are operated continuously in reverse-bias mode, the maximum voltage they can tolerate is 60V. A continuous reverse-bias voltage of 60V should not be exceeded by the photodiodes. Photodiodes have a pin count of 2. In circuits containing photodiodes, 215mW heat may be released from the photodiodes. During operation, photodiodes should not have a temperature higher than 100°C. In spite of this, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 60V. A circuit should have a maximum heat release rate of 215mW from the photodiodes. It is possible to operate the photodiodes satisfactorily with the reverse voltage of 60V in the DC circuit. Photodiodes require an electric potential of 1.3V in order to conduct current. When no light is input, a photodiode will conduct at 2nA current.
