To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) as a safety measure. Its terminations are 2. A thermistor has 2 pins. If the thermistor is unable to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating, then it should have a maximum capability of 125mW. When this thermistor is functioning, it can provide 50V.
