TFPT0805L5001FY Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages to prevent damage. To ensure safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). PTC thermistors have 2 terminations. This thermistor has 2 pins. As a result, when the PTC thermistors are operating, they could supply a voltage of 40V. It is recommended that the thermistor's maximum power loss-transfer capability be set to 100mW in order to prevent overheating. DC thermistors are rated for 40V volts in DC circuits. In terms of heat production, PTC thermistors are rated as 0.1W.
