In order to prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in 0805 (2125 Metric) packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. PTC thermistors have terminations of 2. In this thermistor, there are 2 pins. There should be no overheating if the thermistor is capable of transferring and conducting this power loss. Heat produced by PTC thermistors should be 100mW. In order to ensure reliable performance, this thermistor should supply a voltage of 40V.
