To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in 0805 (2125 Metric) packages. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) as a safety measure. Its terminations are 2. A thermistor has 2 pins. If the thermistor is unable to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating, then it should have a maximum capability of 100mW. When PTC thermistors produce heat, they should be at 100mW. The maximum voltage that this thermistor should supply is 40V.
