TFPT0805L1501FY Overview
For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages. Packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR), these PTC thermistors are safe to handle. PTC thermometers have 2 terminations. It has a total of 2 pins. A PTC thermistor could supply 40V voltage when it is in operation. If the thermistor can't transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating, it'll overheat. When it is operational, the thermistor should be able to supply 40V voltage. These thermistors are rated for DC circuit voltage of 40V. It was determined that PTC thermistors produced 0.1W of heat.
