In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in Disc packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tray for safety reasons. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. For thermistors, 80°C is the maximum operating temperature. But when the thermistor is operating, the temperature cannot be below 5°C.
