There is a package of a Tape & Reel (TR) in which NTC thermistors can be found. We have included it in the 0402 (1005 Metric) package for your convenience. As a result, NTC thermistors must have a resistance tolerance of ±5% in order to function correctly. A maximum operating temperature of 125°C ensures that NTC thermistors can operate reliably. In order to keep their reliability up, NTC thermistors can operate at -40°C. A NTC thermistor must have the 2 pins connected in order to function properly.
