ULN2804A Darlington Array Description
The high voltage, high-current Darlington array ULN2804A is ideally suited for interfacing between low-level logic circuitry and multiple peripheral power loads. All units feature integral clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. Typical power loads totaling over 260 W (350 mA x 8, 95 V) can be controlled at an appropriate duty cycle depending on ambient temperature and a number of drivers turned on simultaneously. The ULN2804A has a 10.5 k? input resistor for 6-15V CMOS and outputs may be paralleled for higher current capability.
