PTC thermistors are packaged as 0805 (2125 Metric) units to prevent damage. A safety package is used to safeguard these PTC thermistors. It is recommended to set the minimum operating temperature of the PTC thermistors at -55°C. Ensure this thermistor is working at 125°C by keeping its operating temperature below that. A thermistor's maximum capacity to transfer and conduct power loss is 100mW. A thermistor in this range is nominally capable of supplying 40V voltage.
