PTFT0805L1002JW Overview
0805 (2012 Metric) packages are used for PTC thermistors to prevent the devices from being damaged. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety purposes. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. A thermistor has a pin count of 2. The maximum power loss that the thermistor will be capable of transferring without overheating should be 100mW. As a result of PTC thermistors producing 0.1W heat, they have been rated as 0.1W.
