PTFT0805L1000JW Overview
Into 0805 (2012 Metric) packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. In order to ensure the safety of these PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR). PTC thermistor terminations are 2. It has 2 pins. While operating, the PTC thermistors could output 40V voltage. Ideally, the thermistor should be able to handle and conduct this power loss without overheating. A DC circuit uses 40V to rate these thermistors. Thermistors with PTC technology produce 0.1W heat.
