It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in 0603 (1608 Metric) packages. In order to protect themselves from damage, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). 2 is the termination of the PTC thermistor. These thermistors have 2 pins. Typically, this thermistor can deliver 32V voltage. The PTC thermistors are designed for a 100μA current.
