0603 (1608 Metric) packages are used for PTC thermistors to prevent the devices from being damaged. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety purposes. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. A thermistor has a pin count of 2. In theory, this thermistor can deliver 32V when it is in operation. PTCC thermistors have been designed for a current of 100μA.
