PD480PI Overview


A Tube package protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into Side View packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 20V when operating in reverse-bias mode continuously. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 20V permanently. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. While operating photodiodes, the temperature should not exceed 85°C. However, the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set at -25°C. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 10nA current.
