As a safety precaution, current sensors are placed in 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) packages. There should be 6mA maximum current supplied by these current sensors. Current sensors are designed for currents of 6 mA. As long as the current sensors are operating, they could supply a voltage of 5 V.
