TIP41C Description
:
TIP41C is a TO-220 plastic packaging NPN power transistor with base island technology. It's a low-cost general-purpose power transistor that can be utilized in electronic circuits for amplification and switching. It has a maximum load capacity of 6 amps. If you need to replace a TIP31, TIP31C, or other comparable transistor in your circuit design to drive additional load, this transistor could be ideal. This transistor should be used with a proper heatsink for driving loads. Because the collector-emitter and collector-base voltages are both 100V, you can use it to drive up to 100V of load. Furthermore, the maximum collector dissipation is 65W, which is an appropriate output for a variety of audio amplification applications. The transistor's collector is connected to two places, one of which is pin 2 and the other is the metal can tab of the transistor. TIP42C is the complementary PNP type.
