In order to prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in 0805 (2125 Metric) packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. PTC thermistors have terminations of 2. In this thermistor, there are 2 pins. There should be no overheating if the thermistor is capable of transferring and conducting this power loss.
