Typically, NTC thermistors are packaged in a Bulk package. In order to make things easier, it is included in the package Probe. A NTC thermistor must have a resistance tolerance of ±0.2°C in order to operate. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to 0°C~70°C. Temperatures of 70°C provide reliable operation of NTC thermistors. It's best to operate NTC thermistors at 0°C for reliability.
