PDB-C201 Overview
As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-205AA, TO-5-3 Metal Can packages. Reverse-bias photodiodes can withstand a maximum of 100V in continuous reverse-bias mode. Photodiodes in reverse-bias mode should not continuously exceed 100V. It's important to have 75V breakdown voltage to make photodiodes work. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 500pA even without light input.
