PDB-715-100 Overview
A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into TO-5 Variant, 4 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 15V when operating in reverse-bias mode continuously. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 15V permanently. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 1nA current.
