Typically, NTC thermistors are packaged in a Bulk package. In order to make things easier, it is included in the package 1206 (3216 Metric). A NTC thermistor must have a resistance tolerance of ±5% in order to operate. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~125°C. Temperatures of 125°C provide reliable operation of NTC thermistors. It's best to operate NTC thermistors at -40°C for reliability. In order for NTC thermistors to work properly, they must have their 2 pins connected.
