N80C188 Overview
Packed in PLCC, the microprocessor is convenient for shipping overseas. Extended operating temperature around 0 to 70 °C. As far as the uPs/uCs/Peripheral ICs type is concerned, this is a MICROPROCESSOR. There are 68 terminations totally. With a 5V voltage supply, the part should be turned on and run. It has a 16-Bit architecture. The CPU operates at a frequency of 10MHz. Please refer to the datasheets for 68 pins functions. The size of data Bus of the CPU is based on 16b-bit system. The microprocessor should not operate in an environment where the temperature is higher than 70°C. 68 pins are injected into the part body. Surface Mount mounted, this CPU is widely used in many applications. The top frequency of the CPU is expected to reach 10MHz. The micro processor can function from 5V. As specified in datasheets, the embedded microprocessor requires 5V power supplies. You can supply voltage 50mA higher than 50mA to the CPU. In a normal situation, users should not supply the CPU microprocessor with a voltage higher than 5.5V. The lowest voltage fed to the CPU microprocessor should be 4.5V. Don’t miss additional features of the embedded microprocessor such as: DRAM REFRESH CONTROL UNIT; PROGRAMMABLE INTERRUPT CONTROLLER. There're 5 external interrupts terminations to deal with hardware interrupts. 2 channels are applied to program the DMA (Direct Memory Access) process.
