The MAX7219CNG is a highly integrated, serial input/output common-cathode display driver that connects microprocessors to 7-segment numeric LED displays of up to 8 digits, bar-graph displays, or 64 individual LEDs. It includes an on-chip BCD code-B decoder, multiplex scan circuitry, segment and digit drivers, and an 8x8 static RAM that stores each digit.
With a wide supply voltage range of 4V to 5.5V, the MAX7219CNG is suitable for many different applications in various industries. Its low power consumption makes it ideal for battery-powered devices, while its compact 24-pin DIP package allows for easy integration into existing designs.
