In order to ensure safety, these analog sensors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). A TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) (Formed Leads) package protects analog sensors from damage. A sensor with 3 pins functions properly. An analog sensor could provide a voltage of 5.5V when it operates.
