ISO7741DWR Description
According to UL 1577, the ISO7741DWR device is a high-performance quadchannel digital isolator with isolation values of 5000 VRMS (DW package) and 3000 VRMS (DBQ package). Devices in this family have reinforced insulation ratings in accordance with VDE, CSA, TUV, and CQC. The ISO7741B device is exclusively intended for uses that call for fundamental insulation ratings.
The ISO7741DWR device isolates CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os while offering strong electromagnetic immunity, low emissions, and low power consumption. A double capacitive silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation barrier separates the logic input and output buffers of each isolation channel. These devices have enable pins that can be utilized to reduce power consumption and set the corresponding outputs in high impedance for multimaster driving applications. The ISO7740 device has all four channels pointing in the same direction, the ISO7741 device has three channels pointing ahead and one channel pointing backward, and the ISO7742 device has two channels pointing forward and two channels pointing backward. For devices without the suffix F and for devices with the suffix F, the default output is high in the event that the input power or signal is lost.
