INA240A1D Description


 The INA240A1D device is a voltage output current detection amplifier with enhanced pulse width modulation suppression, which can detect the voltage drop on the parallel resistor over a wide common mode voltage range of-4 V to 80 V, regardless of the supply voltage. The negative common mode voltage allows the device to operate underground to adapt to the flyback period of typical solenoid applications. Enhanced pulse width modulation suppression provides a high level of suppression for large common mode transients (Δ V / Δ t) in systems that use pulse width modulation signals, such as motor drivers and solenoid control systems. This function enables accurate current measurement without large transient and related recovery ripples on the output voltage. The device is powered by a single power supply from 2.7V to 5.5V with a maximum supply current of 2.4mA. There are four fixed gains to choose from: 20 V amp V, 50 V max V, 100 V max V, and 200 V amp V. The low bias of the zero drift architecture enables current detection and the maximum voltage on the shunt is reduced to 10 mV full range. All versions are specified in the extended operating temperature range (- 40 °C to + 125 °C) and are available in 8-pin TSSOP and 8-pin SOIC packages.
