There are two types of analog ICs on this voltage regulator. The first type is a SWITCHING REGULATOR-type IC. There should be a voltage regulator's maximum operating temperature of 85°C or less. A DC DC switching regulator's minimum operating temperature of -40°C should be exceeded.
