SFH 2713 Overview
In order to prevent damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the MouseReel. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in 3.2 mm x 2 mm packages for safety purposes. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse- bias mode continuously, their maximum voltage is 16 V. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. A photodiode conducts 0.1 nA current without light input.
