The magnetic switch is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) in order to prevent damage. As a safety precaution, the magnetic switches are packaged in 4-SMD, Flat Leads packages. A magnetic switch can supply a maximum current of 4μA if it is well designed. Magnet switches should have a maximum current of 1mA in order to function correctly.
