A protective Tape & Reel (TR) package is used to protect the magnetic switch against damage. It is necessary to put the magnetic switches into TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages in order to ensure their safety. There is a maximum current limit of 17mA that can be supplied by these switches.
