A protective Bulk package surrounds the magnetic switch to protect it from damage. Magnet switches are packed in TO-226-3, TO-92-3 Short Body packages for safety reasons. As a maximum current, magnetic switches can supply 4.5mA. A magnetic switch should only output 20mA current.
