Power MOSFETs, a shielded inductor, passives, and a 20-A DC/DC converter are all included in the simple-to-use LMZ31520RLGT power module, which comes in a low-profile QFN package. The loop correction and magnetics part selection processes are dropped from this whole power solution, which also allows for as few as three external components.

The 15×16×5.8 mm QFN packaging enables a small point-of-load design and is simple to solder onto a printed circuit board. achieves more than 95% efficiency, has a thermal impedance of 8.6°C/W, an incredibly quick load step response, and exceptional power dissipation capabilities. The LMZ31520RLGT is perfect for powering a variety of ICs and systems because it provides the flexibility and feature set of a discrete point-of-load design. A strong and dependable power solution that is compatible with traditional QFN mounting and testing methods is made possible by advanced packaging technology.
