LM350T Description
LM350T series adjustable three-terminal positive voltage regulator can provide more than 3A current Output range from 1.2V to 33V. They are very easy to use and reuse 2 external resistors to set the output voltage. In addition, line and load regulation are compatible with discrete designs. In addition, the LM150 is packaged in a standard transistor package for easy installation and control .
In addition to higher performance than fixed regulators, the LM150 series provides full overload protection that is available only in IC. The chip includes current limited thermal overload protection and safety zone protection. All overload protection circuits remain fully functional when adjusting the emergency connection of the terminal.
In general, no capacitor is required unless the device is located more than 6 inches from the input and output filter capacitor, in which case an input bypass is required. An output capacitor can be added to improve the transient response, but adjusting the pins will increase the ripple repulsion of the regulator.
In addition to replacing the fixed stabilized power supply or discrete power supply, LM150 can also be used in a variety of other applications. Because the stabilized power supply is floating, only the difference voltage from input to output can be seen. As long as the difference between input and output does not exceed the maximum value, the power supply of several hundred volts can be adjusted. That is to say, avoid output short circuit
By connecting a fixed resistance between the adjusting pin and the output, the 1w150 can be used as a precision current regulator to turn off the power electronically by clamping the adjusting terminal to ground, thus programming the output to 1.2V, most of which consume very little current.
The part numbers with the K suffix in the LM150 series are packed in standard TO-3 steel, while the part numbers with the T suffix are packaged in TO-220 plastic. The rated temperature of LM150 is-55 °CT ≤ + 150C, while the rated temperature of LM350A is-40CT+125C, and the rated temperature of LM350 is 0C ≤ TFT 125C.
