ISO7741FQDWWRQ1 Description


According to UL 1577, the ISO7741FQDWWRQ1 automotive device is a high-performance, quad-channel digital isolator having isolation ratings of 5700 VRMS (DWW package), 5000 VRMS (DW package), and 3000 VRMS (DBQ package). The reinforced insulation ratings for this series of devices come from the VDE, CSA, TUV, and CQC.

The ISO7741FQDWWRQ1 device isolates CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os while offering strong electromagnetic immunity, low emissions, and low power consumption. A double capacitive silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation barrier separates the logic input and output buffers of each isolation channel. These devices have enable pins that can be utilized to reduce power consumption and set the corresponding outputs in high impedance for multi-master driving applications. The devices ISO7740-Q1 and ISO7741-Q1 each have three forward-direction channels and one reverse-direction channel, whereas ISO7742-Q1 has two forward-direction channels and two reverse-direction channels. For devices without the suffix F and for devices with the suffix F, the default output is high in the event that the input power or signal is lost.
