HMC981 Description
The HMC981 is an active bias controller that regulates the gate voltage of an external amplifier to maintain a constant bias current. It provides a comprehensive biasing solution for enhancement and depletion type amplifiers operating in the Class-A regime with drain voltages ranging from 4V to 12V and drain currents up to 200mA.
HMC981 Features
No calibration is required for automatic gate voltage adjustment.
4V to 12V supply voltage
3.3V to 5V digital voltage
Controls devices of both the Enhancement and Depletion types.
