DS18S20+ Overview
Safety-protected analog sensors are packed in the Bulk. It is important to protect analog sensors by packaging them in TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) packages. It is necessary for proper operation of this sensor to have 3 pins. This electronic part has 3 terminations. As a result, the analog sensors could supply a current 1mA. It should provide a DC voltage of 5.5V at its maximum. A magnetic switch, however, can supply a voltage as low as 3V when used in a DC circuit. Sensors can function with 1mA current nominally. When optimum performance is desired, the sensor output should be 4mA.
