DF62-2428SCFA Description
The DF62-2428SCFA is a Slim In-Line Connector. The 2 x 2.2mm Wire-to-Wire Connector from the DF62 series was created to maximize tiny or constrained locations. The body was slimmed down by forming smooth outside surfaces and the contacts are organized in a grid pattern to shorten the diagonal distances. These connectors are virtually tangle-free thanks to their design, which also helps conserve valuable space. There is no exposed or visible metal, so there is no chance of an electrical arc forming between the connector and the interior of a metal conduit. Upon successful completion of the lock, the locking mechanism emits an audible click. After mating, the plug window allows for a visual inspection of the socket lock. Together, these indications preclude incomplete mating. In order to produce a solid connection that can withstand vibration and severe operation, the structure uses two contact points. Because of its distinctive design, the lance and contact regions are protected from bending or deformation.
