We set the ripple current of the capacitor to 200mA.In a simple circuit consisting of a resistor and a perfect capacitor, equivalent series resistance (ESR) determines the amount of valuable energy lost. All circuits with a resistor and a capacitor have 500mOhm as their resistance.This capacitor has a leakage current of 0.002mA.Insulating oil has a tan delta of 0.06 when it goes through an electric dielectric test to determine its quality.
