Cut Tape (CT) package done to protect the magnetic switch from damage. In order to prevent damage to the magnetic switches, they are packaged in SOT-23W packages. Good performance is achieved by magnetic switches that can supply 3mA as maximum current. Magnetic switches should have a maximum current of 60mA to operate.
