Magnetic switches are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR) for protection against damage. For safety reasons, the magnetic switches are packaged in SOT-23W packages. A magnetic switch with good performance can deliver 4.5mA as its maximum current. Magnet switches must be able to output 12mA current.
