AN48836B-NL Overview
A protective Tape & Reel (TR) package is used to protect the magnetic switch against damage. It is necessary to put the magnetic switches into 6-SMD (5 Leads), Flat Lead packages in order to ensure their safety. To ensure good performance, the magnetic switches are capable of delivering 5μA as the maximum current. Switches of this type are capable of delivering 2mA as the maximum current when they are in use. There is a maximum current limit of 5μA that can be supplied by these switches. 5 pins are required for the switches to function. It contains 5 terminations. During operation, the magnetic switches may supply a voltage of 1.8V. The device can theoretically supply 3μA current when it is in operation.
