The mechanical temperature sensors were packaged in Cylinder with Mounting Flange packages to protect them. A mechanical temperature sensor resists the passage of -500MOhm current through electrical insulation. To protect the circuit from problems, the contact resistance of mechanical temperature sensors should be [0]. Ideally, this electronic part should be operated at 0°C or above. Mechanical temperature sensors, however, can withstand temperatures up to 260°C. A mechanical temperature sensor can carry 500mA current indefinitely. Ideally, AC circuits should carry no more than [0] voltage through mechanical temperature sensors.
