2455R Switching Cycles: 100K 7.2A 277V 15A 120V - AC Quick Connect Chassis Mount
2455R81000452 Overview
Protecting the mechanical temperature sensors is achieved by putting them in Cylinder with Mounting Flange packages. By insulating the electrical circuit, the mechanical temperature sensor will prevent the passage of -500MOhm current. A mechanical temperature sensor's contact resistance should be 50mOhm to prevent problems. There is a minimum operating temperature of 0°C that must be met by this electronic part for it to function properly. Temperature sensors with mechanical components can, however, reach 150°C. The maximum current that a mechanical temperature sensor can carry for an indefinite period of time is 10A. In an AC circuit, the mechanical temperature sensors should not carry more voltage than 120V. The maximum voltage that mechanical temperature sensors can produce in an AC circuit is 250V. It should be possible for a mechanical temperature sensor to operate at a maximum load current of 10A.
