To protect the mechanical temperature sensors from damage, we pack them in Module packages. This electronic part cannot operate below 0°C for it to function properly. Mechanical temperature sensors, however, can reach 150°C at their maximum operating temperature. For an indefinite period, a mechanical temperature sensor will carry 500mA current.
