To prevent damage to the temperature sensors, we package them in Module packages. It is critical that the minimum operating temperature of this electronic part not be below 52°C for the part to function properly. However, mechanical temperature sensors are capable of operating at a maximum temperature of 232°C. During an indefinite period of time, a mechanical temperature sensor will carry 500mA current. AC circuits should not carry mechanical temperature sensors with voltage above 250V.
