    2-140-Y Description


    The 2-140-Y is a 2 terminal panel mount barrier terminal block that has a barrier inserted between the terminals to increase electrical rating and provide further protection against shorting on frayed wires. It has a 15A electrical rating. Features nickel-plated copper, nickel-plated brass grommets, and a black molded one-piece universal phenolic insulator. The 140 standard includes an XPC marker strip made of NEMA grade material and a combination screw with Y terminal lug screw. The block can decide which mix of mechanical and electrical properties best satisfies the application's precise requirements. Depending on their production needs and environmental restrictions, terminals and vent strips enable equipment designers to select the best termination method.
